Lip Augmentation

Lip Augmentation

Accenting the borders of your lips and providing a bit of volume for a sexy, natural look is a specialty of Dr. Lay’s. Nobody wants lips that look unnaturally swollen. Dermal fillers such as Restylane® or BELOTERO BALANCE® are usually the best approach to achieving the look you want. There is almost no risk and if you aren’t happy with the look, fillers can be quickly melted with an enzyme.

Some lips, however, require a little more volume and you may consider a soft silicone implant such as the PermaLip™ implant. These implants are easily placed in the clinic using local anesthetic, and have the advantage of looking and feeling very natural. An additional advantage of the PermaLip implant is that its smooth texture allows it to be easily removed should the patient feel it is oversized or undersized or simply wants it removed. Fortunately this occurs very rarely.
